Celebrate National Business Etiquette Week by Practicing These 7 Business Etiquette Tips

June 3 thru June 9th is National Business Etiquette Week! This is a great time to practice a few of the many business etiquette tips I have shared with you over the years. There were so many to choose from. But I believe the following 7 business etiquette tips can easily be incorporated into your networking and business practices.

Grace and Charm Tip #1: Perfect your “30 second commercial.”

Grace and Charm Tip #2: During a networking event, remain standing as much as possible-you will appear more approachable.

Grace and Charm Tip #3: Focus on following up and following through while you’re still at a networking event or meeting.

Grace and Charm Tip #4: Add value to your social networks. Answer questions and leave encouraging comments- anything to build up others is a plus. Be genuine.

Grace and Charm Tip #5: Remember to say “please” and “thank you.”

Grace and Charm Tip #6: Treat others as you would want to be treated.

Grace and Charm Tip #7: Be honest about what you can do and cannot do.  If something has gone wrong be honest and upfront immediately.
